Hello there!

I’m Claire and I live in England with my husband Kyle and our three kids. We’re from Canada – coast to centre, and an outlier born in the Netherlands – living it up across the pond until the Postdoc funding runs out. My job is to make sure we don’t starve, smell nice and look presentable. (Kyle’s job is mostly counting stars in other galaxies.) My interests are eclectic – to say the least. I’m a recovering (hopefully) control freak and a (finally) homeschooling parent. I’m a Catholic, babywearing, breastfeeding, P.G. Wodehouse/Tolkien/Jane Austen/Daniel Pennac/whatever-is-in-front-of-me reading, sewing and embroidering, baker and maybe soon small business owner?
